Photographic Competition 2015

The Photographic Competition 2015, for the best photograph taken of a Gresley Locomotive during 2015.

You are invited to participate the  Gresley Society photographic competition, open to all comers with prizes awarded for the best photograph taken in 2015 of a Gresley locomotive.

PRIZES and ELIGIBILITY

The contest is open to both members and non-members
1st Prize: £250.00
2nd Prize: £100.00
3rd Prize: £50.00

 

PHOTO CONTEST JUDGING AND WINNER SELECTION

Contest entries will be judged by Brian Stephenson, Nick Pigott and Mike Esau and their decision will be final.

 

COPYRIGHT & USAGE RIGHTS

Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. However, in consideration of their providing the Competition, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to The Gresley Society Trust to feature any or all of the submitted images in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material.

For any use that falls outside this remit, royalties will be discussed & negotiated with the photographer concerned. The GS will make every reasonable effort to ensure that name credits are given to any photograph published in any medium.

 

PHOTO COMPETITION SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Digital photos to be no bigger than 2500 px wide with no borders or watermarks. Each entrant is limited to a maximum of 5 images. The closing date is midnight Thursday 31st December 2015.

Submissions can be made online only by using the form below.

Instructions on submitting entries:   Name each photo! Beginning with your initials, please add a unique file number to each image with a caption, including date and location for up to a max. of 5 images per entrant.

When you enter, we collect personally identifying information about you, including your name, and email address. The information that you provide will not be sold or rented to third parties or used for any other purpose.
