Annual General Meeting

NOTICE OF THE  ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

 

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of The Gresley Society Trust will be held on-line on the Saturday 30 January 2021 starting at 2 pm. Information regarding access for membership to participate on-line will be notified via the Website shortly.

 

You will be asked to consider and vote on the Resolutions 1 to 7 below.  They will be proposed as ordinary resolutions. 

 

Ordinary Resolutions

 

  1. That the Report and Financial Statements for the year ended 31 March 2020 be accepted.
  1. That Ledgers Chartered Certified Accountants, having consented to act, be appointed as examining accountants.
  1. Philip Benham retires by rotation and, being eligible, offers himself for re-election be elected as a Trustee.
  1. Christopher Clark retires by rotation and, being eligible, offers himself for re-election be elected as a Trustee.

  5  Ian MacCabe being eligible, offers himself for   re-     election be elected as a   Trustee.

 

 6  Steven Hogg being eligible, offers himself for election as  a  Trustee.

 

7  Any other person, of which the members of the Company are notified in writing by the Board,after the date of the Notice of Annual General Meeting dated 30 October 2020, having consented to act, be appointed as a trustee of the Charity with effect from the end of the meeting.

Please note :  In the light of the current Covid-19 guidelines members will be unable to attend the meeting in person.  As a result, the meeting will take place on-line using, Zoom Technology, and all voting will take place using a Ballot Paper.  The Ballot Paper will be included in the AGM members booklet posted with the latest issue of the Gresley Observer.

 

Once the ballot paper has been competed it should be posted to the Charity at The Gresley Society Trust c/o Messrs Ledgers, 40, The Village, Old Warden, Biggleswade, SG18 9HG to arrive no later than 9 am. on Wednesday 20 January 2021. Alternatively members may wish to e-mail scanned copies of their ballot paper to the Hon. Secretary at cjbclark@btconnect.com
